Sunstone Speech and Language is a boutique pediatric practice in Ballantyne offering individualized, evidence-based speech and language therapy—in English and Spanish—for children ages two to twelve.
Sunstone Speech and Language was founded to create a pediatric speech and language practice that prioritizes meaningful relationships, individualized care, and clinical excellence. We’re intentionally designed as a boutique clinic rather than a high-volume therapy center—so every family gets direct access to an experienced clinician, not a rotating roster of providers.
Founder Kimberly Adames, M.S., CCC-SLP, brings specialized clinical experience from both private practice and public education, giving her a wide-angle view of how children communicate across settings. As a certified bilingual speech-language pathologist, she provides comprehensive evaluations and therapy in both English and Spanish—without relying on interpreters—for more accurate assessment and stronger relationships with multilingual families.
“Rather than simply improving speech, we seek to build confident communicators who are empowered to express themselves, connect with others, and reach their fullest potential.”
We exist to help children confidently express themselves across every means of communication—speech, receptive language, expressive language, and social skills—through evidence-based care that honors each child’s individuality.
Therapy plans are built around each child’s goals, with the flexibility to adjust as progress unfolds—never a one-size-fits-all program.
Every evaluation and treatment plan is grounded in clinical excellence, current research, and measurable progress toward real communication goals.
Comprehensive evaluations and therapy delivered directly in English and Spanish, honoring the language and culture of every family we serve.
Every child’s path to confident communication looks different. Here’s where we typically begin.
Support for articulation and phonological challenges that affect how clearly a child is understood.
Building both the ability to understand language and to use it to share thoughts, needs, and ideas.
